Police Chief Victor Zordan announced last week that twelve suspects have been identified in connection with a shooting that occurred during a Jordan 5 sneaker release at Hibbett Sports earlier this month, arrests are begun and the public’s help is needed to arrest ten others .
The February 8 incident, which left two people injured, began inside the Louisville Avenue store before spilling into the parking lot. According to police, one victim was an intended target while the other was an innocent bystander caught in the crossfire.
“These individuals are so proud of themselves and so protective of where they live that three miles away they will shoot at somebody regardless to who standing the way, bystanders or anybody,” Chief Zordan said.
