Columbia, LA – The former students and staff of Union Central High School gathered for a heartwarming 50-year reunion recently. The reunion was a celebration of cherished memories, strong bonds, and the enduring legacy of a beloved institution.
Charles Hearns, the president of the reunion committee, shared insights into the event’s history.
“We’ve been holding these reunions every three years since 1992,” Hearns said.
“The only exception was in 2021, due to the Covid pandemic. This year, we had an impressive turnout of over 250 attendees, with alumni traveling from as far as New York and California.”
