As Richwood mayoral recall approaches, leadership standoff continues

As the December 11th recall election approaches for Richwood Mayor Gerald Brown, the majority of the town’s aldermen are in opposition to just about anything the mayor proposes.

  Wilbert Reed, mayor pro-team of the Richwood Board of aldermen, says there appears to be bad blood between Mayor Brown and at least two aldermen, and a serious difference of opinion between himself and the mayor.

  The board of aldermen and the mayor’s standoff has resulted in a lengthy delay in adopting 2021-22 town budget which came to a another vote Tuesday night.
