As Richwood Recall election looms, war of words continues

As Richwood voters prepare to decide the political fate of incumbent mayor Gerald Brown Saturday in a special recall election, the war of words between the mayor and the majority of his board of aldermen continues.

Last week, in a letter to the public, Mayor Brown defended his administration, pointing to many advancements the town has made. He said he’s been crippled by an uncooperative board of aldermen that will not approve his budget and second guess his appointments and seek to undermine his executive authority.
