Ashley Harris to run for Richwood Mayor

Ashley T. Harris, a lifelong advocate for community development and a dedicated resident of Richwood for over 25 years, is officially announcing her candidacy for the position of Mayor of Richwood in the upcoming March 2023 Municipal Primary Election.

Ashley’s campaign is rooted in her deep understanding of Richwood’s history, her extensive educational background, and her unwavering commitment to public service.

She is the daughter of Edward Tyrone Harris and the granddaughter of former Richwood Mayor Edward Harris.

Born in Monroe, LA, and raised globally during her father’s 28-year military service, Ashley brings a unique perspective shaped by diverse cultures and practices. She holds a Master of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University and a Bachelor in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of Louisiana at Monroe.
