After nearly two months of investigative work, authorities have arrested the prime suspect in a July drive-by shooting that occurred in the Town & Country Subdivision on Old Sterlington Road.
The suspect, identified as Erin “Big E” Deburr, was positively identified and apprehended by Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s deputies this week, thanks to a video he posted on YouTube featuring rap lyrics alluding to shootings he claimed.
What happened?
The incident took place on July 20, 2023, when deputies from the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a drive-by shooting at the Delta Mini Mart. During the course of their investigation, it was determined that the victim had been spending time with friends when he was shot in the right shoulder from a vehicle on the roadway.
