Black Tie Guys travel in search of Black History

This week a group of young men from Monroe, known as the Black Tie Guys, have set out on an educational journey to explore Black History beyond what is taught in school.

This week-long trip aims to provide these youth with a deeper understanding of pivotal moments in African American history.

On Tuesday, the group visited the 16th Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, Alabama, site of the infamous 1963 bombing that catalyzed the Civil Rights Movement.
