City transit union endorses Betty Cooper for Mayor

Mayoral candidate Betty Ward-Cooper has garnered the official endorsement of the Amalgamated Transit Union Local 1160.

The announcement came during a recent press conference where union Vice-President James Tatum, speaking on behalf of President Horace Anthony, expressed the union’s support for Ward-Cooper’s candidacy.

The ATU Local 1160, representing workers of Monroe’s transit system, voiced concerns over the current state of the city’s transportation services.
