Community activists pushing “Mask-Up” message to save lives

Local churches are being asked to host vaccine clinics to help fight the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

   Community activists are running up against stone walls trying to get churches and others to help raise community awareness about the need for vaccinations and masks among African-Americans.

Two activists are moving throughout the community trying to send the mask-up message. For the last year, Marie Brown has been working the streets encouraging rank and file citizens to take the COVID-19 vaccinations, she has arranged for hundreds to take the shots, but has had little luck getting churches to serve as vaccination centers.
