Family, friends, and the Monroe community will gather this weekend to honor and celebrate the life of Constance “Connie” Miller Beard, who passed away on March 30, 2025, at the age of 63. The beloved local performer, affectionately known as “Sistah Viva Vocee,” dedicated her life to spreading joy, laughter, and faith through her Christian comedy ministry.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at noon at Greater Free Gift Baptist Church located at 5510 US Highway 165 Bypass. Visitation will take place the evening before, on Friday, April 4, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
