In a heartwarming ceremony filled with love and light humor, Corey Morgan and Mindy Jones were married on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at a resort center in Calhoun.
The couple exchanged vows under the soft glow of candlelight, surrounded by approximately 50 close family members and friends.
In a touching and personal moment, Corey read three handwritten pages of vows to his bride, pledging not only his love but also humorously promising to let Mindy be “the boss of me.” Mindy, in return, vowed love and loyalty, and with a smile, reminded Corey that he had indeed promised that she would be “the boss of him.” Despite the playful language, the vows were sincere and emotional, capturing the essence of their bond.
A unique element of the ceremony was the couple’s symbolic act of tying a special knot to a cross, a representation of their commitment to be bound together by faith for the rest of their lives.
