Daddy Ro is back on the airwaves with a new morning show called “Vibe 95.”
In the early 1990s, Roosevelt Wright, III, made history in the Monroe area for being the youngest radio personality on the air at Radio Station KYEA and later 100.1 the Beat. Then he was known as “Daddy Ro.”
At 100.1 the Beat, as a teenager, he branded a mixture of news, comedy, and upbeat music that made him popular in Monroe and Shreveport.
Now, over 30 years later, “Daddy Ro” is back, but he’s now “Reaux Fa Real,” and his new syndicated morning show is now being broadcast via the internet on 20 radio stations in eight countries.
Called “The Morning Show,” it airs daily from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. central time.
It’s promoted through the “Parlay Brand” app, which is a free download for Apple and Android phones.
The “Morning Show” features a team of broadcasters that includes Kristina, an all-around businesswoman and spoken word artist in the New Orleans area. Known as “AllNillusion,” Kristina adds plenty of flavor to the show.
Another spoken word artist and social media influencer is Mel, known around the country as “Ms. Melancholy.” As a Spoken Word artist, she has a unique but light-hearted view of world events that brighten each day.
The morning show also features “Supreme,” a well-known Chef in New Orleans who has the unique talent of being both a world-class chef and a spoken word artist who sees the world through pots and pans.
The “Morning Show” syndication is part of the new wave that reaches this generation of millennials with Reaux Fareal’s unique mix of music, talk, news, comedy, and commentary that makes his show a “must” for those who need a perk up or a vibe to begin the day.
Ironically, “The Morning Show” can also be heard on KYEA in Monroe. Their IOS and Android app is called “KYEA da bomb.”
