No decision has been made about the fate of Carroll High School band director, DeSaree Player, her court date has been delayed again.
Player was suspended from her duties as Band Director of Carroll High School in December of 2021 after she was arrested by citation on a misdemeanor charge of simple assault against a student.
Player’s case, though a misdemeanor, could have far-reaching career implications. It has been set for trial before city court Judge Tammy Lee. This week, the case was continued again without a date for the third time.
