The Monroe City School System has promoted Dr. Harrington Watson, III to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).
This appointment, confirmed by Superintendent Rev. Sam Moore, III, marks a new chapter in the district’s leadership.
Dr. Watson brings an impressive background to this role. Since 2019, he has served as the principal of Wossman High School, where he has made notable strides in improving school performance, increasing enrollment, and enhancing teacher retention.
