Ethan Wright, a 5th grade student at the Mayfield Elementary School in Slidell was among students honored at the school’s recent honors program.
Ethan was honored as a PTA Star student and was honored with a literary achievement award.
Ethan is a student cartoonist for the Free Press and regularly post quotes about elementary student life in the newspaper. He is also a Top Gun Time Traveler.
He is the son of Roosevelt and Sandria Wright of Slidell.
Ethan was presented his award by Karen Soo, the school principal.
