Charles Alvin Turner, KNOE TV’s first Black Technical Newscast Director, passed away on October 18, 2024. Mr. Turner held that position from 1973 to 1976. Mr. Turner took advantage of a Vocational Training program offered to high school students while he was a senior at Wossman High School.
