Funeral services for a woman who spent years volunteering as a children’s advocate in the CASA program will be held next week.
Services for Mary Ann Lopez will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, at the New Bright Star Baptist Church on Wilson Street. She died on January 22, 2022.
Funeral services will be under the direction of McFarland Funeral Home.

Mary Ann Lopez, age 62, was born in Monroe, Louisiana, on May 8, 1959, to the late Willie and Vadelia Brown. She resigned her mortal life and transitioned to eternity on January 22, 2022, with her sons by her side.
