Hello family, my name is Anthony Kedley. Monroe being my hometown, where I was raised and learned to love God with all my heart and soul. I’m reaching out to the City of Monroe and surrounding areas to come out and support local boy coming home to lift the saints and encourage those who may have lost their way. I am part of a singing group called Minister R. L. Taylor and the Sons of the Father. We, along with some other local talent like: Betty Hawkins and United, The Hawkins Family and Joey and Bertha Kedley, possibly more, will be holding a Gospel Explosion there in Monroe at my beloved home church, on December 2, 2023, at 5 p.m. at the China Grove Baptist Church, at 201 Oakley Dr. in Monroe 71202, where Bishop Wendell R. Sawyer is pastor. We are excited to be there. I have told these city boys whom I sing with of the praise and worshipping in Monroe. Now, don’t let me down and not show up or more importantly, show up and not give God all the praise due Him. Pastor Wendell R. Sawyer has graciously decided to host this event, so go by and fellowship with him and a host of my family when you get a chance. You will certainly get a blessing! Minister R.L.Taylor & The Son of the Father
In the spring of 2000, the Sons of The Father was organized by its Founder and President, Minister R. L. Taylor. This is our 23rd year of Gospel Quartet Music Ministry. We have seen the Mighty Hand of Our God, down through the years. We are more than just vocalists and musicians. We minister through God’s word and our experiences with Him. We thank God for the sacrifice of His son, Jesus. In him we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sin. God has allowed us to do great things in His name. We have 2 CD releases to our credit, including the latest, “Just to See Jesus.” We won Male Quartet Group of the Year in 2016 for The Rhythm of Gospel Awards in Memphis, Tennessee. Also, nominated for Quartet Group of the Year at the TGMEA Awards, 2020 in Houston, Texas. In 2022, we were nominated for the S&M Awards and PrayzeFactor Awards. We will continue to lift up the Strong name of Jesus Christ as long as God sees fit. We are convinced that “HITHERTO HATH THE LORD BROUGHT US.” Please continue to pray for your brothers until Christ returns, as we pray for you as well.
