With 66,550 cheering fans in the Superdome, bands blaring and big screen monitors churning out instant replays, the Grambling Tigers and the Southern University Jaguars gave the crowd their money’s worth in the 44th annual Bayou Classic last week. In the end, the Grambling Tigers defeated Southern by 30-21 to win the SWAC West Division title for the second straight season.
