Housing Development Ground Breaking held

     Groundbreaking was held Monday for a new housing development in South Monroe near the Apple Street underpass by “Choosing Independence” a California Company.

     David Wooley, regional marketing director for the Reseva, California-based company says the company will build 42 units in the area with single bedroom dwellings selling for $89,000 and four Bedroom units selling for $160,000.
