After 47 years in education, Mrs. Virginia Howard is calling it quits.
Mrs. Howard, the current librarian at Carroll High School is retiring and bringing a career that extended a half century to a close.
Mrs. Howard is the First Lady of the Solomon Temple Baptist Church, where her husband the Reverend James Howard is pastor. She taught English for 23 years in Richland Parish and for the last 24 years she has taught in the city system as an English instructor and school librarian.
Hats off for a job well done.
