Hunter, Smith to face off in April 24th runoff for Appeals Court

The battle for the vacant 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals will be one sitting district judge and a former city court judge, one young man and one who will hit the age limit in two years. 

   Fourth Judicial District Court Judge Marcus Hunter and former City Court Judge Rev. J. Garland Smith will face off in the April 24th runoff election.

   Hunter received 44% of the votes, and Smith had 32%. Fourth JDC Judge Larry Jefferson received 24% of the votes.
