The windshield in a car is much bigger than the rearview mirror. You can’t successfully drive the car forward by looking in the rearview mirror. We must remember our future is bigger than our past. We can’t change our past, but we can change our future. Every setback is preparing you for a comeback. I want my comeback to be bigger than my setback.
If you make a mistake, learn 5 lessons from the mistake and keep moving forward. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “ If can’t fly then run. If you can’t run then walk. If you can’t walk then crawl. But whatever you do. You have to keep moving forward.” Continue to move forward regardless of the setback. Life may not get easier, you just get stronger. Remember, the person who is responsible for your comeback is the one you look at in the mirror each morning.
