Jury awards Monroe aspiring model $2.5 million after accident

A Ouachita Parish jury awarded a Monroe woman a $2.5 million decision after it decided that she was negligently injured in a vehicle accident in Monroe.

The trial involved Courtney Jo Tully, a mother and aspiring model, whose career came to an abrupt hault when the car she was driving in April 2018 was hit by a company vehicle being driven by a Maryland man who backed out of a yard in the 600 block of Arkansas Avenue and struck Tully’s vehicle.
