Landers, 8 Carroll coaches suspended after defending staff against white fans

Monroe City Schools will appeal a decision by the LHSAA to suspend the head coach of Carroll High School and eight of his assistants, in the aftermath of a melee last week in Franklin Parish.

    Wednesday the Louisiana High School Athletic Association announced Wednesday that Brandon Landers and eight members of the Carroll High School coaching staff will be suspended for the rest of the regular football season and all of the postseason in the aftermath of an incident last week at Carroll-Franklin Parish football game.
