Not much is said about her locally, but one of the nation’s most sought after “Police Brutality” tort lawyers lives in Monroe. Her name is Carol Powell Lexing.
Now that the George Floyd funeral and memorials have ended, a six-person legal team has been assembled to represent the family’s interests. Powell-Lexing is a member of that team.
