A local man was arrested in the early morning hours of April 9 after allegedly assaulting a woman who suffered extensive facial trauma, according to police reports filed yesterday.
Curtis Standley was taken into custody at approximately 12:17 a.m. Wednesday morning by Officer J.V. Caesar after officers responded to a disturbance call at 3902 Harrison Street.
Upon arrival, police encountered a female victim with a black bruise on the left side of her forehead near her eye, covered in blood. The victim’s injuries were so severe that she was unable to open her left eye, according to the report.
