A 42-year-old man has been arrested following the shooting death of a 61-year-old man on Honeysuckle Drive on Tuesday.
The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of Patrick Morris, 61, who was fatally shot after an altercation in the neighborhood. Deputies responded to the scene after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Morris suffering from a severe gunshot wound to his lower body.
Morris was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
