Less than a month ago, Erick Goodin, was among over 200 students who graduated from a local high school. Last week he was killed by a man who said the shooting was an accident.
Police arrested 19-year-old Andre D. Lewis and charged with second-degree murder of 19-year-old Goodin.
On Monday, June 22, 2020, Goodin was found unresponsive inside an apartment. Police officials say he was found with a gunshot wound that did not appear to be self-inflicted.
The police investigated the death and found Lewis who reportedly admitted to shooting Goodin a single time. Although he repeatedly stated the shooting was an accident he was charged with second-degree murder. His bond was $350,000 bond.
