Marshall says his family has been threatened, gives warning

“I will not be threatened, and if I see you, I am on guard,” were the words of City Council chairman, Carday Marshall at Tuesday night’s council meeting.

Marshall said he has received threats from people in the community about positions he has taken or not taken on the city council.

Marshall said he invites input, but recently he and his family have received personal threats. He mentioned two issues, the installation of speed radar units in some Southside District and the council’s failure to hear the appeal of Wilson Wyatt regarding the name of N. 10th Street to Troy X Cade Street.
