Monroe Mayor Jamie Mayo was involved in a fender-bender in Washington D.C. on Wednesday, January 22nd.
The accident occurred when the Taxi in which he was riding was hit by another vehicle.
The mayor was treated at the George Washington Hospital for back and shoulder pain. He was in DC for the U.S. Conference of Mayors’ winter meeting.
He was reportedly en route to a meeting with Congressman Ralph Abraham.
