Irma Scoby Pugh, a longtime educator and minister known affectionately as “Queen Bee Love,” passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2024, at the age of 77.
Born on October 20, 1946, in Monroe, Louisiana, Pugh dedicated her life to education and spiritual guidance. She graduated from Carroll High School in 1964 before pursuing higher education at Grambling University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in education in 1969.
