Minister Verbon Muhammad says it’s time city officials find a way to open the underpass on South Second Street.
Muhammad complained to the Monroe City Council Tuesday night that the underpass has been flooded for over two weeks forcing traffic to go around.
Muhammad is the minister of Mosque #99 of the Nation of Islam which owns a facility at the end of the street, he says traffic has been hampered by the blocked access.
