NAACP Candidate’s live forum peppered with zingers, jabs, insights

Candidates for the Ouachita Parish Police Jury and Sheriff’s Office made their appeals to African-American voters during a live forum held on Tuesday night at the Monroe Civic Center.

The forum, which was broadcast live on the Monroe Free Press Facebook Page, provided a platform for candidates to present their views and engage with the community. The event remains available for those who missed it, with early voting set to begin on September 30th, leading up to the primary election scheduled for October 14th.

The live broadcast was produced by ProWorks Productions, owned by Kita Wright, and moderated by NAACP Vice President Verbon Muhammad and West Monroe Businessman Christopher Lewis.
