NAACP critical of double standard board uses during Vidrine investigation

Rev. Ambrose Douzart, the President of the Ouachita Parish Branch of the NAACP, has criticized the Monroe City School Board for allowing Superintendent Dr. Brent Vidrine to remain in his position amid an ongoing financial misconduct investigation.

The board’s decision appears to be in violation of its own policy, which mandates employees facing accusations to be placed on administrative leave with pay during investigations, Rev. Douzart said.
