National Spoken Word Champion to perform at Carroll

Monroe native Reaux Fareal to be Black History special guest

The faculty and student body at Carroll High School will get a special performance from 2x National Spoken Word Champion this Monday, Feb 27 during the school’s Annual Black History Celebration. Reaux Fareal, a Monroe native, has been featured on HBO, MTV, Fox News, and TBN as an elite Spoken Word Artist, Singer, and Author. He has also directed 6 reality TV shows. In the Monroe area, he is known by many as “Daddy Ro”, as he was formerly known when he was the first Black Radio Personality hired at 100.1 The Beat in the early 90’s.
