Neville to host traditional graduation, others pre-record big moment

Local high schools are using a variety of ways to honor the class of 2020, but the largest will be the Neville High School graduation set for Thursday, May 21, 2020.

Neville High School will have over 200 graduates, and unlike other local schools they will observe the traditional Neville stadium graduation, with two exceptions: they will sit six feet apart left and right and ten yards apart front and back; and only two family members will be allowed in the stadium to observe the ceremonies.

Carroll and Wossman High Schools have made videos of graduates receiving diplomas one at a time. Carroll’s parents observed the videotaping spaced out in the auditorium as students received diplomas and left the auditorium. The recording will stream live on Facebook on Friday night.

Wossman recorded the speeches of the Valedictorian and Salutatorians in an empty auditorium with no parents present. The Wossman graduation will stream on May 28th and feature photographs of the 2020 graduates.

The Neville graduation will stream live for the public on Facebook.
