One superintendent applicant withdraws, others still eligible

One applicant for superintendent of Monroe City Schools has withdrawn from consideration, and there may be another move afoot to disqualify a second applicant.

Two weeks ago, Dr. Brian Bush, principal of Clark Elementary School, reportedly withdrew his application for superintendent of the city school, leaving only three applicants in the pool.

This week, some board members reported receiving an email notifying them that Sam Moore may be disqualified as an applicant. The email indicated Moore does not have the required five years of classroom teacher experience.
