Ouachita NAACP election results under review after glitch complaints

Members of the NAACP are waiting for the final determination of branch elections in hundreds of branches around the USA. Possible glitches in its new electronic voting system are prompting reviews of some branch elections.

    One review that is presently underway is the Ouachita Parish NAACP election in which four members sought election as president in Saturday’s voting. The electronic results, made available to each member immediately after voting closed Saturday night showed Rev. Ambrose re-elected as president with 41.18 percent of the votes cast.
