Parade, festivities set for Monday’s King holiday

The community is set to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a series of events sponsored by the Martin Luther King, Jr. Foundation, beginning this weekend and extending through Tuesday.

The annual Martin Luther King Parade is scheduled for Monday, starting at 10:00 a.m. Participants will line up at 9 a.m. at Wossman High School, with the parade route concluding at the Louisiana Purchase Gardens and Zoo. This event promises to be a vibrant display of community spirit and a tribute to Dr. King’s enduring impact.
