Ouachita Parish School Board Superintendent Todd Guice recently announced the appointment of three new elementary school principals, effective Monday, April 22.
D’Anne Bennett has taken the helm at Swartz Upper Elementary. She expressed enthusiasm about her new role, saying, “I view this as a challenge and an opportunity to foster growth among the students, enhance community engagement, and cultivate a positive atmosphere. I am inherently optimistic and strive to maintain good relationships with everyone. My goal is for this sense of belonging to permeate throughout the school, making everyone feel it is truly their place.”
