The city’s murder of the week scenario continues as police have arrested two juveniles connected with the shooting death of one person and injury to another on May 1st.
The Monroe Police Department responded to a “shots fired” call in the Parkview/Trichell Apartment complex and found Tevin Melton, an African-American male, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He later died. Another person was also treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
