A shootout between two teens in a dispute over a female has left one teen dead and another hospitalized.
The shooting occurred Sunday at the Parkview Apartments.
According to the Monroe Police, two juveniles were involved in a shootout in Apartment 95 of Parkview Apartments. Police said Krishelle McFarland answered a knock on her door and answered it. A youth, later identified as 16-year-old Clay Smith, entered her apartment and went to a back room that was occupied by a youth, later identified as 17-year-old Vontae Green, and others.
