In a momentous announcement made from her pulpit last Sunday, Janet Floyd, a nationally known evangelist, pastor, and esteemed attorney, made a statement that she will one day seek election as a judge, but the statement was prophetic, she won’t be running for judge anytime soon.
When news of Attorney pastor Floyd’s statement hit the political rumor mill, it spread like wildfire that she will be seeking the vacant seat in Division B of the city court. The vacancy was created when city court Judge Jeff Joyce was elevated to the District Court without opposition.
Pastor Floyd told the Free Press Wednesday that she will be seeking a judgeship in the future, but not anytime soon.
