The arrests come as part of a strategic move by authorities ahead of the March 23 election, highlighting the city’s commitment to cleaning up the streets and curbing drug-related activities.
The suppliers were Black street hustlers, but the customers were white patrons of the club. Only the suppliers were arrested, even though possession of cocaine is a crime.
