Rev. McCoy praises plans for Richwood’s $1.4 million upgrade

Rev. Harold McCoy, a member of the Ouachita Parish School Board, is spearheading a $1.4-million project to upgrade the sports facilities at Richwood High School. The School Board recently agreed to seek bids for the project, which will focus on improving the aesthetics of the school’s field house and press box.

Rev. McCoy has been trying to get the upgrades for years, noting that both facilities have been neglected for nearly 25 years since their construction.

Rev. McCoy said much of the upgrades will be eye candy, but other changes will come as well.
