Monroe native is Federal Prosecutor; gives a statement
A white cop who kicked a black homeless man in the face two years ago, had to face a black federal prosecutor from Monroe. After pleading guilty, the cop received a 78-month judicial kick in the face.
On December 7, 2022, 44-year-old Jared Preston Desadier, a former Monroe Police officer, was sentenced to 78 months in prison, followed by two years of supervised release for his role in the April 2020 assault of Timothy Williams and his efforts to cover up the abuse.
