Bessie Ballard Bolden born in Rayville, Louisiana, on August 18, 1934, made her transition from earth to heaven on the evening of December 9, 2022. She expired peacefully in her home surrounded by her children and other family members.
“Mother,” as she was affectionately known by many, will be sorely missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, lone surviving sibling, and a host of other family members.
Viewing will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 907 Winnsboro Rd, Monroe, on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 3 pm – 5 pm. Funeral will occur on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Parkview Drive Church of Christ, 1706 Parkview Dr, Monroe, at 11 am.
Flowers may be sent to Smith Funeral Home starting Friday at 9 am.
