Smith Funeral Home of Monroe, LA will have a viewing from 3-5 on Feb. 21, 2025. Services will be held Saturday, Feb 22, 2025, at her church home, King Solomon Baptist Church, 346 Huenefeld Rd., Monroe, LA 71203, Reverend Wesley Daniel officiating.
She was born December 16, 1950, to the late Joseph and Mary Lee Johnson.
Minister Mary Jo Johnson-Hall was a loving & devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, family member, and friend to all. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is known by many for her angelic singing voice, cooking from the soul, kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith in the Lord.
Minister Mary Jo Johnson-Hall is survived by her loving husband, James E. Hall Monroe, LA, her 3 sons Minister Ronald Green (Janet) of Texas, Edward Hall (Alisha), and William Hall both of Monroe, LA. 5 grandchildren: Naomi & Kayla of Texas; Ariel, Elora, and Aiden all of Monroe, LA. 2 brothers Vincent C. Johnson (Tyiesha) and Joseph Johnson Jr. (Guestlla) both of Monroe, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, family members, God son and friends.
