Services for Quaynecha LaShea Turner, 35, of Monroe, will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Tried Stone Baptist Church, 3022 Brunson Street.
Visitation will be Friday, November 22, from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at McFarland Funeral Companies, 1901 Burg Jones Lane.
Ms. Turner passed on November 12, 2024, at Ochsner LSU Medical Center in Monroe, Louisiana.
Born July 8, 1989, to Mary and Ronnie Turner, “Necha,” as she was affectionately known, accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Tried Stone Baptist Church. She was a 2007 graduate of Carroll High School.
On April 7, 2021, she united in marriage with Eddie Warner, Jr., who survives her. Her love of cooking and infectious smile brightened the lives of all who knew her.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Eddie Warner, Jr.; children, Kentavious McFarland, Keona McFarland, and LaDarriona Mathis; parents, Henry and Mary Beaver and Ronnie Turner; siblings, Miracle Beaver, RonShedrea Colvin, RonJarrius Colvin, and Keona Daniels; stepchildren, India Sumblin, Rasmieko Sumblin, Eddie Warner III, Cody Sumblin, and Joseph Levels; grandparents, Herbert and Essie Meadows, Robert and Essie Meadows, and Annette Beaver; brother-in-law, Emile Warner; godmother, Kay Willis; godchildren, Kyla Willis and Amethyst Miles; godbrothers, Nolan Ford and Jamario Ridley; and numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Horace Cherry, Sr.; mother-in-law, Charlene Warner; and father-in-law, Eddie Warner, Sr.
Services are entrusted to McFarland Funeral Companies.
